Maruti Celerio for a Comfortable Ride

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio, the B-segment hatchback, has mainly been launched to replace the A-star. The car has capably bridged the gap between the Ritz and the Wagon R. The engine produces a max power of 67.06bhp at 6000rpm and a max torque of 90Nm at just 3500rpm. The CNG version, on the other hand, produces a max power of 57bhp at 6000rpm and a max torque 77Nm at 3500rpm. There is a five speed manual transmission in this car.

The car provides a decent mileage of f 23.1 kmpl with the petrol engine. The CNG engine, on the other hand, offers a remarkable mileage of a mileage of 31.7 Km/kg.


The front wheels of the car are blessed with ventilated disc brakes, whereas the rear brakes feature drum brakes. As for safety features, there is ABS, seat belt, high mounted third brake light, engine immobiliser, air bags, anti locking system and so on.


The Celerio offers smooth gearshift. It takes about 15 to 16 seconds for the car to reach the speed of 100 kmph. The car offers a top speed of 145 kmph, which is quite decent. You are expected to get a smooth driving experience on different driving conditions. The pricing of this car ranges between Rs 3,76,385  and Rs 4,78,869.
